In June 2006 Abundant Life Church dispatched 10 of our church members to the Dominican Republic for 10 days to meet up with others from churches throughout the U.S.  Below are some of the many pictures that were taken.  They reflect the beauty as well as the poverty of the Dominican Republic, and the need for missionaries.  Our missionaries did everything from building playground equipment for the children to providing a medical clinic for children to face painting and make-up for young girls, many that have never even seen make-up.  Though the work was difficult and trying at times, especially in the heat, God's grace was with each of them, and the thankful smiles made it all the more worthwhile!  We thank each of these volunteers for their efforts!
